Prior to arriving in Spain we had nine years of fishing in France catching many large carp and large numbers of catfish, honing our skills ready for setting up our business on the Ebro river.
We are here to make your holiday a memorable experience, and we will do our best to put you on the fish, sort your accommodation for you, advise you on car hire, show you the best places to eat and drink, even coming with you to the local bar and enjoying a beer with you, as we watch the best football team in the world Barcelona, beat Real Madrid.
Our own personal best Wels catfish are, 182lbs, 149lbs and 144lbs. We specialise in catching Wels catfish only, and with our wealth of local knowledge to draw from, you can be sure we will do our best to put you on the fish. Your guides have been catching Wels Catfish for over 19 years in total with over 10 of these being on the river Ebro, Just take a look at our Big Cat Diary pages where all of the fish caught are 120lbs and over will assure you that you have made the right choice. There is no 9-5 fishing here we usually start between 2pm-4pm fishing a full 8 hours to make sure we are fishing during the best catfish feeding times.
Natalie Hull- The River Queen
Natalie is the most consistently catching guide on the river Ebro, where she is affectionately known as “The River Queen”. A term used by John Wall, a friend and Angling Times columnist and ex-Severn Champion. John fished with Natalie for 12 hours on the river Ebro catching 5 fish for a total weight of 499lbs. Angie Buchanan also came to us from the Angling Times , she dearly wanted to beat editor Richard Lee’s personal best fish, (he also fished on the river Ebro but further downstream) she did this with a lovely catfish of 138lbs, catching a total of 5 fish in just under 9 hours fishing
Natalie is well known for her ability to put her clients “on the fish” her largest catfish which was a Lower Ebro River record weighed 182lbs.
A good fisherman who’s caught catfishes as large as 149lbs, sharing his time between the UK and Spain, he is not often seen but when he is around it is well worth it. He plans on moving to Spain soon to become a more active member.
Natalie’s and Daniel’s father and their biggest inspiration, he started fishing when he was 15 years old, fishing for all species of freshwater fish, then specialising on carp, (largest UK carp weighing 31lbs) and catfish fishing(the largest being 144lbs). He spent 9 years on fishing holidays in France with his children, this is where he caught his first catfish, he then decided to go to Spain to try and catch some larger catfish, setting up Catfish Adventures in 2003 after buying a piece of land that runs along the edge of the Ebro river. Graham has now passed the business over to Natalie to successfully run.
